Renr vs Google Workspace
This is the one comparison on this site where the honest answer is “both”. Google Workspace is business email on your own domain, shared calendars, Drive storage, Docs, Sheets, Meet and Chat — infrastructure that almost every company ends up needing, and that Renr does not provide and does not try to replace. Renr is the layer above it: the WhatsApp inbox your customers message, the CRM that remembers them, the cash register, the booking page and the books. Most Renr customers keep Workspace. The useful question is not which one you buy, it is which jobs you are still doing in a spreadsheet.
When Google Workspace is the right purchase
Buy Google Workspace almost always — Renr offers no email, calendar or file storage and is not a substitute.

- For a team still running the company from personal Gmail addresses, this is a bigger upgrade than most software purchases.
What Renr adds that Workspace does not cover
Add Renr for the customer-facing work Workspace never touches: messages, CRM, sales and books.
- Workspace has no WhatsApp Business API inbox, no CRM, no point of sale and no bookkeeping module.
- Renr’s HQ plan — Rp 500,000 per user a month, minimum 3 seats — carries the WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram inbox with AI auto-reply. A Workspace seat costs far less per head; it simply does not do this job.
- POS, bookings, invoicing and accounting are modules, not a spreadsheet and a paper receipt book.

Per user per month on a one-year commitment, before tax. Without that commitment the same tiers cost US$3.00, US$8.40, US$16.80 and US$26.40 — exactly 20% more, which Google’s own toggle describes as “Save 16% with 1 year commitment”. New customers are currently shown an introductory 40% off Starter and 30% off Standard for the first 12 months, limited to the first 20 users. There is no free plan; the trial is 14 days. Google states “Semua harga $USD”, and the rupiah does not appear on its list of local billing currencies.

The honest verdict
These two products barely overlap, and it would be dishonest to pretend otherwise. Google Workspace is the email, calendar, storage and document layer that most companies should buy, and Renr replaces none of it — if you are choosing between them for that job, choose Workspace, and it deserves credit for charging 11% PPN properly and issuing a valid Faktur Pajak. What Workspace does not do is answer the WhatsApp message, remember the customer, ring up the sale or issue the invoice, and those are the jobs Renr exists for. The practical decision is whether those jobs are worth software at all yet. If they are still living in one personal WhatsApp account and a spreadsheet, Renr’s free tier — two users, 100 contacts, 1,000 orders a month — costs nothing to try and sits alongside Workspace rather than against it; the customer inbox with AI auto-reply arrives only on the HQ plan, Rp 500,000 per user a month with a three-seat minimum, so Rp 1.5 million before the first message is sent. The one genuine friction point on the Workspace side is commercial, not technical: it is a US dollar bill in a Rupiah business. A ten-person team on Business Starter is US$70 a month, roughly Rp 1.23 million at Bank Indonesia’s JISDOR reference rate of Rp 17,636 per US dollar on 4 September 2026, and that figure moves whenever the Rupiah does.
