Renr vs Kasir Pintar
Kasir Pintar, from PT Kasir Pintar Internasional in Surabaya, is a low-cost cashier app for small Indonesian merchants: scan a barcode, take the payment, print the receipt, see the day’s report on your phone. It has a genuinely free tier and a Pro tier that their own FAQ puts at “mulai Rp 55rb/bulan”. Renr is an all-in-one business app — point of sale, bookings, CRM, task management, team chat, accounting, a shared WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram inbox, commerce and a website builder. They overlap at the till and almost nowhere else.
When Kasir Pintar is the better choice
Pick Kasir Pintar if you run a warung, kiosk or minimarket and what you need is a till.
- Far cheaper than Renr: PRO is Rp 666.000 a year, against Rp 300.000 per branch a month.
- Sells and supports the counter kit Renr does not — barcode scanners, cash drawers, thermal and dot-matrix printers.
- Renr has no offline cashier mode; the POS Offline plugin keeps several cashiers transacting when the connection drops.

Prices on kasirpintar.co.id/harga are annual; PRO is also sold for 6 months at Rp 333.000, and Kasir Pintar’s own FAQ describes it as “mulai Rp 55rb/bulan”. The honest verdict
These two are bought for different reasons. Kasir Pintar is a cashier app for small Indonesian merchants, with a usable free tier, Pro at Rp 666.000 a year, real printer and scanner support, offline operation and local training in Surabaya and Malang. Renr does not compete on any of that — no hardware, no offline till. It is also the cheaper product by a wide margin. What Renr adds is the customer layer a cashier app does not attempt — one inbox for WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Telegram with AI replies, bookings, CRM, tasks, team chat and accounting — bundled into one fee of Rp 300.000 per branch a month with ten users included and Rp 50.000 for each one after that. The inbox and the AI replies are not on that branch fee — they sit on the HQ plan at Rp 500.000 per user with a three-seat minimum, Rp 1.500.000 a month. A warung that needs a till should buy Kasir Pintar. A business losing more revenue to unanswered chats and missed bookings than to slow checkout should look at Renr. Running Kasir Pintar at the counter and Renr behind it is a reasonable answer too.
