These are not the same shape of product, and pretending otherwise would waste your time. Kledo is Indonesian cloud accounting software — double-entry bookkeeping, a chart of accounts, a general ledger, PPN and PPh support, and 50-plus financial reports, priced in Rupiah with a free-forever tier. Renr is an all-in-one business app for Indonesian SMBs: Point of Sale, Bookings, CRM, Tasks, Team Chat, Accounting, a WhatsApp/Instagram/Facebook/Telegram helpdesk, Commerce and a Website Builder. Renr’s Accounting module is an accounting system too: a double-entry journal, an editable chart of accounts with migration to DJP codes, neraca, laba rugi, arus kas and trial balance, and Indonesian tax handling for PPN, PPh and e-Faktur — free until Rp 500 million in revenue a month. What it does not do is consolidate several companies into one set of books.
When Kledo is the better choice — and it often is
Choose Kledo if you keep books for more than one company, or if you need reporting depth beyond the standard statements.

Branches are billed per location, HQ per person, and the two combine — five outlets with an HQ team pay five times Rp 300.000 plus Rp 500.000 per HQ user. Accounting is free until Rp 500 million revenue a month.

The honest verdict
Both products keep real books, so the choice is not books or no books. Renr runs a double-entry journal on an editable chart of accounts, migrates that chart to DJP codes, produces neraca, laba rugi, arus kas and a trial balance, and handles PPN, PPh and e-Faktur — free until you pass Rp 500 million in revenue a month, and after that inside the Rp 300.000 branch plan with ten users included and Rp 50.000 a head beyond them. Kledo is the deeper accounting product: 50-plus reports, warehouse costing with averaging or FIFO, automatic fixed-asset depreciation, faktur pajak from Pro up, and books consolidated across several companies, which Renr does not do. So: if you close more than one company’s books, or your accountant wants that reporting depth, Kledo earns its Rp 159.900 a month. If one company’s books sit behind one operation and what is drowning you is the WhatsApp queue and a till nothing is connected to, Renr keeps the accounts in the same app that generates them — with the shared inbox and AI replies on the HQ plan at Rp 500.000 per user, three seats minimum. Both have a free tier, so testing either costs nothing.
